The Drive Cockpit implements bi-injection technology
into key performance areas of the boot. The stiff plastic
is located at the toe and heel of the boot for precision
steering and reaction in the binding system. Stiff plastic
is also strategically placed in the arch area to optimize
foot support and energy transfer to the ski. Soft plastic
is used in the instep area for better wrapping and smooth
entry and exit. Hard plastic in the upper cuff is oriented
for maximum lateral support and energy transmission.

Rossignol's F.I.T. concept improves her stance and
strengths to maximize performance.
F.I.T. (Feminine Intuitive Technology) is based on
two concepts:
F.I.T. construction: Uses two distinctly different
fibers in the core to reduce weight without loosing
performance.
F.I.T. integral system: Specific interfaces engineered
to adapted to women skiers. The F.I.T integral system
provides women with a natural forward mounting position
which optimizes the distribution between tip and tail.
The Plate is a specific shape for easy turn initiation
and precise control. The TPI2 W allows for tool-free
binding installation and boot size adjustments.
The Thermo fit liners are made from a heat-able EVA
foam. Once heated the foam is soft and moldable to
give the best personalize fit. It can be molded over
and over, as many times as you like to get the prefect
fit.
Designed for and used only on the women's boots. The
height is significantly lower, and has a distinct
"tulip" backward flare and a scalloped profile
to accommodate a women's natural calf shape. Furthermore,
the top buckle is mounted lower for better shin and
calf fit with no pinching.
The lower shell is bi-injected with soft plastic for
smooth and consistent wrapping. Reliefs along the
instep create an active hinge system for ultra easy
entry and exit, without compromising four-buckle,
overlap boot performance. The bi-injected plastic
on the upper cuff is varied in thickness and shape,
and is cut away, making the upper cuff easier to open
and less of factor during entry and exit.
All the women's boots are matched in shaped with a
women's specific liner. Women's liners are lower than
the unisex to accommodate for the anatomical differences
in the lower leg. A woman's calf is typically lower
than a man's; therefore, the liner is cut out and
scalloped in the back for a more comfortable fit.
The padding around the top of the liner uses softer
foam to accommodate the calf muscle. The women's liners
have specific padding to securely hold the narrower
ankle and forefoot. The liner is outfitted with ultra
plush, velvety material.

Fitting 101. Its Best to get sized before you
buy, but if you know your shoe size you wear then order
that size. Some customers order a half size larger so
you have some room for ski socks. For whatever reason
they don't fit, just send them back within 30 days unused
