GNU Velvet Women's Snowboard 2024
The Velvet is the choice of Gnu team riders who approach the whole mountain like their park. It’s snappy flex and hybrid C2 contour work in synergy for pop and stability. It features intuitive asym geometry, and Magne-Traction®, so it is catch-free and responsive. The eco sublimated plant-based graphics give this ride a down to earth vibe. The Velvet is comfortable in any conditions and as balanced in the park as it is in banked slaloms or street sessions. Design conceptualized by Naima Antolin and designed by Hannah Eddy.
Technology
- C2 Contour: Perfectly balanced all terrain contour. Mild rocker between your feet with powerful cambers to the tips and tails. Enough power pop and precision to technically hit the biggest wedges, enough float and freedom to rip the gnarliest AK pow lines. Carves the resort, plays in the park, and slays powder.
- Medium Flex
- ASYM Level 1: Balance through asymmetry. ASYM Level 1 features an asymmetrical sidecut with a deeper sidecut on the heelside for power.
- G Lite 2 FCS Certified Aspen + Paulownia Core: Light, strong, and poppy.
- Triaxial / Biaxial Fiberglass: Strong and poppy.
- UHMW Sidewalls: Tough and fast.
- Eco Sublimated Sintered Base: Fast, tough, and holds wax.
- Magne-Traction®: 7 strategically located and sized edge serrations provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions.
- Eco Sublimated Poly Top: Tough and environmentally nice.
- Mervin Made: Hand made at the Mervin Factory in Washington, USA with zero hazardous waste.
