Air Shape-How to increase the ski's durability while at the same time making it easier for women to carry, that was the challenge. With quite narrow beveled shaping along the edges of the ski and a wider tip and tail, the Air Shape produces skis perfectly adapted to female hands and that meet the above two requirements.

Air Core-A light core is the key to making a light ski… To create the Air Core we replaced the conventional poplar with paulownia wood and we also hollowed the core out in its center. The ski is up to 20% lighter, a compelling fact that no woman can ignore!

Echo for Life LIN/Titanal-A combination of advanced fibres that is eco friendly too! Smooth and reactive, stable and playful… here are the benefits brought by the combination of linen and titanal fibers in skis' construction.

Minicap Sandwich-Very solid construction with reinforced topsheet for more durability. The sidewalls are angled at 30° to reduce inertia and overall weight while improving grip.

Oversized Sidecut-The Oversize sidecut combines the very deep carving ski sidecut with current underfoot widths. The width at tip and tail delivers effective grip as well as power and precision. The underfoot width gives increased control and better hold in turns. Oversize sidecuts offer maneuverability, power and control

Power Turn Rocker-This ski has high traditional camber for 90% of its length, delivering power as well as excellent snowfeel and grip on the piste. A slight rocker over the remaining 10%, at the tip, makes turn initiation easier and more controllable. Piste - Precision - Grip - Power - Speed - Acceleration.

The introduction of rocker to alpine skis has literally improved the ski experience for all skiers from first-timers to powder hounds to World Cup racers. Rocker makes skiing nearly effortless by simultaneously enhancing steering and minimizing fatigue – without compromising performance – for every skier type. Simply put, rocker helps skis turn with less effort, carve more easily and float better in deep snow.

Rocker is actually a catch-all phrase that describes “reverse camber” or “early rise” in a ski’s camber profile. Rocker is an upward bend of the tip and/or tail away from the snow. Rocker comes in many different forms including: “full rocker”, “tip rocker” and “tail rocker”.

Traditional camber is the opposite of “rocker” and features a modest downward bend along the length of the ski. Traditional camber enhances stability and tracking; increasing precision and fore/aft balance.

The right balance of rocker and traditional camber depends on the level and type of skiing one prefers. Rossignol offers four different rocker profiles: Power Turn Rocker, Auto Turn Rocker, Powder Turn Rocker and Spin Turn Rocker. Each perfectly tailored to the exact needs of every skier type…

Integrated Xelium Saphir 110 Women's Bindings

The Xelium Saphir 110 is an ultra-lightweight, tool-free integrated binding with a 3.5-11 DIN range. Xelium bindings are 700g lighter than traditional alpine bindings and have 35% less enviromental impact. Winner of the 2012 ISPO Eco Responsibility Award, Xelium bindings deliver exceptional safety and performance in an ultra-lightweight, eco-friendly design. 
Designed for use with integrated Xelium ski binding systems only.

TÜV-All Rossignol bindings are designed to give skiers maximum safety. TÜV Munich certifies our products, ensuring that they conform to safety standards and verifying that our assembly equipment and processes are capable of manufacturing them in accordance with those standards.

Xelium-The new XELIUM system is 700 g lighter than a conventional binding: allowing skiers of both sexes to progress in complete safety with a high performance system, without being penalized by the weight of bindings. The XELIUM system won the Eco Responsibility Award at ISPO 2012: its environmental footprint is greatly reduced (35% lower) compared with the life cycle impact of a traditional binding. Mounting and adjusting these bindings is "tool free".
