Big Bear Ski Resort is open for the season! 

Happy Friday 3/7 Lifts Open 9am Getboards opens 8am 

Showers will taper off through Friday morning setting us up for a chilly finish to the week as highs reach the mid to upper 30's, north winds continuing 10-20 mph at times. Weak high pressure aloft will strengthen over the weekend leading to fair and warmer conditions. Daytime highs will climb back into the 40's to around 50 degrees on Sunday, while overnight lows remain in the teens and 20's. Our next winter storm will approach the area on Monday with increasing clouds and winds once again. At this time, it looks like snow showers will develop Monday night continuing into Tuesday with another short break between storms later Tuesday into Wednesday. Then a potentially stronger storm could arrive Wednesday and Thursday with significant rain and snowfall possible. This is still a little ways out so the forecast totals will be adjusted as we get closer. If you have travel plans into the mountains, always be prepared for winter weather driving conditions and carry chains. Thats it for our weather report!
