When choosing the right ski length, there are a couple of factors you need to take into consideration. The most important are your height, weight, ability level, and the type of skiing you plan to do.
As a general guideline, choose a ski that reaches somewhere between your chin and the top of your head (or, for some skis, slightly above your head). A shorter ski makes shorter turns and is typically easier to maneuver at lower speeds, while a longer ski will have a longer turn radius and generally offers greater stability and confidence at higher speeds.

Advanced and expert skiers as well as heavier people will find the right ski length by adding 5 to 10 centimeters to the measurement to the top of the head.
Shorter and lighter skiers may go for a ski length that equals their height.
Redster S
The length of a slalom ski should be well below the top of your head. Common lengths are between 165 and 170 centimeters for men, and between 150 and 165 centimeters for women.
Redster X & Q, all Cloud skis
Advanced and expert skiers should go for a ski length that equals their height; those of more than average weight and aggressive skiers may want to add up to 5 centimeters.
Less experienced and lightweight skiers should subtract 5 to 10 centimeters from the measurement to the top of the head.
