Atomic Redster TX 120 Ski Boots 2027

The 2027 Atomic Redster TX 120 is a performance-focused alpine race ski boot designed for advanced and competitive skiers who want precise control, strong power transmission, and a responsive feel without the added stiffness of a 130-flex race boot. Built with race-focused technology from Atomic’s Redster line, the TX 120 combines a supportive 120 flex with a performance-oriented fit to deliver confident edge control and dependable response at speed. It’s an excellent choice for aggressive skiers and developing racers looking for race-inspired precision with a slightly more manageable flex.

Features

  • Race-Focused Performance: Designed for advanced skiers and developing racers who demand precision, control, and responsive handling.
  • 120 Flex: A strong, supportive flex delivers powerful energy transfer while remaining slightly more forgiving than a 130-flex race boot.
  • Performance Fit: A close-fitting shell and liner create a precise connection between the skier, boot, binding, and ski.
  • Direct Power Transmission: Race-oriented construction efficiently transfers skier input to the ski for quick response and accurate edge control.
  • Strong Lateral Support: Provides the stability needed to confidently drive the ski through powerful carved turns.
  • Secure Closure: Performance-focused buckle construction helps hold the foot securely in place for consistent control and response.
  • Responsive Shell Construction: Engineered to provide the support and responsiveness required for demanding race and piste skiing.
  • Precise Edge Control: The supportive design helps translate skier movements directly to the ski for confident edge engagement on firm snow.
  • Hard-Snow Performance: Built for groomed slopes and firm race surfaces where stability, precision, and power transmission are essential.
  • Advanced Race Performance: Ideal for experienced skiers and developing racers looking for a responsive 120-flex boot that balances race-level precision with a slightly more accessible feel.

Step-by-step explanation of how to accurately measure your foot length

1. Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall.

2. Make sure you are wearing thin ski socks. Always make sure to wear thin socks while skiing – if you wear thicker ski socks, you will get colder faster and have pressure points.

3. Wearing thin ski socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.

4. Then use a pen to draw a line directly at the end of your big toe. Repeat for the other foot.

5. Using a ruler, measure the distances between the wall and the lines you drew in centimeters. Use the longer distance to determine your size. Your centimeter length equals your mondo point size.

Info

Knowing the length of your foot (hence, mondo point) is only one measurement out of many that are required to genuinely know which boot is right for you. Your boot is an extremely important part of your skiing equipment and if you’re in the wrong one, it can lead to a lot of discomfort while skiing. And because we want you to enjoy this amazing sport as much as possible, we recommend visiting your local Atomic dealer, who can help match you with a boot that suits your unique biomechanical needs.
