Many adventures await on the trails of Big Bear. Big Bear Lake is known for its great hiking and biking trails, many are challenging but also very scenic. Alpine Pedal Path is one of the most well known trails to locals and tourists alike. This paved path is perfect for anyone looking to ride or walk alongside the lake, and it is 2.5-5 miles long depending how far you venture. Make sure to check out Juniper Point and Meadows Edge while you are out there!
But if you’re looking for a trail a little more challenging look no further; the second most well known path in Big Bear Lake is the Cougar Crest Trail. This wooded trail is 4-5.5 miles long of inclined panoramic fun. Cougar Crest is a trail that can be enjoyed year round but during the spring you can capture its true beauty.
