Pack Your Return
Place the item in a sturdy box with all tags and original packaging. Include the packing slip or a note with your name and order number.
Cover any old labels and barcodes and seal the box securely.
Step 3
Drop Off Your Return
Use any trackable, insured carrier. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item arrived defective or incorrect.

Return Policy
Items must be returned in the same condition received, with manufacturer packaging, tags, documentation, and any accessories. We may refuse returns that arrive used or damaged due to improper packaging. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. Certain services and select items are not returnable, including mounted skis / binding mounts, heat-molded liners, and items missing original packaging or tags. Videos and safety-sealed accessories must be unopened.

Option 2: Drop off your return (Free)
Eligible products can be brought to our Big Bear Lake stores during normal business hours, even if you purchased online. Do not start a return online. Bring the product, proof of purchase, and all original packaging. Our team will take it from there.
Outside the United States
Option 1: Ship your return
Buyers outside the U.S. are responsible for return shipping to the U.S. Include all original packaging and pack carefully. Mark the shipment as “Return” on customs forms. Duties and taxes paid on the original order are not refundable by Getboards. Your local carrier may advise on reclaiming duties with your customs authority.

Exchange Policy
The fastest way to exchange a product is to place a new order now and return the original purchase. We issue a refund for the returned item after inspection. This is the fastest way to get the right gear and avoid items going out of stock.
Refund Policy
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after your return passes inspection. Most refunds process within 3 to 5 business days of arrival at our facility; your bank may take additional time to post the funds. Original shipping is not refundable. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item arrived defective or incorrect, in which case we will provide a prepaid label once confirmed.
Warranty Claims
Every new product we sell is covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.
For most brands, the manufacturer makes the final decision. We are happy to help as the middle person between you and the brand. Please check the manufacturer’s website for the exact coverage and terms. Some brands allow Getboards to approve or deny claims directly.

How to submit a warranty claim through Getboards.
Step 1. Check the brand’s warranty page or start our process to see if your issue is covered.
Step 2. Review the details below outlining what is and is not usually covered. If you have questions, contact us.
What is usually covered by warranty
- On skis and snowboards: Delamination of topsheet, base, sidewall, edge, tip and tail due to manufacturing defect during production. This occurs when layers are not properly bonded together, showing a clean separation free of any of damage.
- Stitching separation from seam failure on apparel.
What is not covered by warranty
- Damage resulting from contact with objects or repetitive contact from park features.
- Delamination due to impact showing scrapes, gouges or bent edges.
- Damage from improper use, misuse, abuse or neglect. This includes but not limited to boxes, rails and rock damage
- Cosmetic issues including topsheet chipping or peeling and edge rust.
- Boot damage from board rest while riding the lift.
- Ripped, torn, cut or abraded fabric.

- Your name
- Order number or receipt
- Product info (type, brand, size etc.)
- Clear photos of the issue
- Describe the defect
- Current shipping address
FAQ's
What items can I return
Most new, unused items with all tags and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Clothing must be unwashed. Videos and sealed accessories must be unopened.
Can I mail more than one item back in the same box
Yes. Please include each item on your return request, pack carefully, and keep your tracking number.
What do I do if I receive an incorrect or damaged item
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. If a defect or our error is confirmed, we will provide a prepaid label and make it right.
Can I cancel my order
If the order has not shipped, reach out and we will try to cancel it. If it has shipped, wait for delivery and then start a return from My Account → Orders.
Are mounted skis or binding services returnable
No. Mounted skis, binding mounts, and other custom services are not eligible for return or exchange.
How long will my refund take
Most returns are processed 3–5 business days after they arrive. Your bank will typically post the refund within 2-5 business days.

Can I return an item after 30 days?
Yes. Return requests made after 30 days are eligible for store credit only. We’ll issue credit after your item arrives and passes inspection. Items must be new and unused with all tags and original packaging. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility and original shipping isn’t refundable. Exclusions still apply, including mounted skis / binding services, heat-molded liners, final-sale items, and opened safety-sealed products.
What if I see the item for less after I’ve purchased it from Getboards?

How do I submit a warranty claim?
