Ski Size Chart by Rider Height
Use this chart as a quick starting point. Choose the shorter end for easy turning and the longer end for more stability and float.
Tip: Rocker allows sizing slightly longer. Twin tips often feel shorter, so many riders go 2-5 cm longer.
Fine Tune Your Length
Ability Level
Beginner or cautious: choose the shorter end of your range for easier turning.
Intermediate: pick the middle of your range for balance.
Advanced/Expert: go longer for stability at speed and better float.
Terrain & Style
Groomers, learning: shorter for quick control.
All-mountain, mixed snow: mid range.
Powder, off-piste: longer for float, especially with wider skis.
Park & freestyle: a touch shorter or true-to-size for spins and quickness.
High speed, big mountain: longer for stability.
Ski Shape & Rocker
Rockered tips/tails shorten the effective edge, so you can size slightly longer without feeling unwieldy.
Full camber grips more edge, so true-to-range usually feels right.
Skier Weight
If you’re lighter than average for your height, consider the shorter end. If you’re heavier or very aggressive, the longer end will feel more supportive.
