Smith Code MIPS Helmet 2023
The Code combines a minimalist aesthetic with Aerocore™ construction featuring Koroyd® for the new front edge of skate-style protection. The low profile shell design is better protection combined with Smith-pioneered AirEvac™ technology for superior goggle integration. The Wayfinder strap system featuring Fidlock® is functional simplicity, making it easy to use one hand for on and off use. The technical-knit liner provides beanie-like comfort with a Boa® 360 fit system that lets you customize your fit. This is the first true solution for advanced riders who want superior protection and functionality with a minimal look.
CONSTRUCTION
- Lightweight In-Mold Construction: Low profile In-Mold designs combine a polycarbonate shell with EPS liner to provide superior impact protection and extreme light weight.
- Aerocore™ Construction: Smith’s Aerocore™ design increases airflow, improves temperature regulation and anti-fog capability, and enhances impact resistance. Aerocore™ uses a unique honeycomb material called Koroyd® that is superior for both airflow and impact absorption.
VENTILATION
- Airflow Climate Control: Strategically placed vents give you easy climate control in all conditions. Vent placement maximizes airflow and heat exhaustion in warm temperatures while minimizing undesired cold air drafts.
- AirEvac Ventilation: AirEvac drives the warm air away from the goggle through external vents and internal channels in the EPS liner.

FIT
- BOA® FS360 Fit System: The BOA® FS360 system uses a full halo design that offers both forward and lateral adjustment, and creates a “floating” effect that eliminates hot spots.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
- MIPS System Equipped: In a helmet with the MIPS Brain Protection System, the shell and liner are separated by a low friction layer that allows the helmet to slide relative to the head in and angled impact.
- Wayfinder Strap System Featuring Fidlock®: The new Wayfinder Strap System featuring Fidlock® is functional simplicity, making it easy to use one hand for on and off buckle use.
