Atomic Hawx Prime 120 S BOA Ski Boots 2027
The 2027 Atomic Hawx Prime 120 S BOA is a high-performance all-mountain ski boot designed for advanced skiers who want a powerful, precise feel without stepping up to the stiffness of a 130-flex boot. Built around Atomic’s medium-volume Prime platform, the Hawx Prime 120 S BOA combines a supportive 120 flex with the BOA® Fit System for precise adjustment and an even wrap around the foot. Responsive, customizable, and comfortable, it delivers the control and support needed for confident skiing across the entire mountain.
Features
- Medium-Volume Fit: Built around Atomic’s Prime platform with a 100mm last, providing a precise yet comfortable fit for skiers with average-width feet.
- 120 Flex: A strong, responsive flex delivers excellent support and power transmission while remaining slightly more forgiving than a 130-flex performance boot.
- BOA® Fit System: Uses a micro-adjustable dial and cable system around the lower shell to create a secure, evenly distributed wrap around the foot.
- Prolite Construction: Strategic reinforcement in key areas provides strength, stability, and efficient power transmission while reducing unnecessary material and weight.
- Memory Fit: Heat-moldable shell and liner technology allows the boot to be customized for a more personalized fit.
- Mimic Liner: Heat-moldable liner technology adapts to the shape of the foot and ankle for improved heel hold, comfort, and performance.
- Power Shift: Allows adjustment of forward lean and flex characteristics so skiers can fine-tune the boot’s stance and response.
- Energy Backbone: Reinforcement along the rear of the boot adds strength and improves edge-to-edge power transmission for more responsive skiing.
- GripWalk Soles: GripWalk soles provide improved traction and a more natural walking motion while maintaining compatibility with GripWalk-certified ski bindings.
- High-Performance All-Mountain Design: Ideal for advanced skiers looking for a medium-volume boot that combines strong support, precise fit adjustment, and responsive performance for groomers and varied all-mountain terrain.
Step-by-step explanation of how to accurately measure your foot length
1. Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall.
2. Make sure you are wearing thin ski socks. Always make sure to wear thin socks while skiing – if you wear thicker ski socks, you will get colder faster and have pressure points.
3. Wearing thin ski socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
4. Then use a pen to draw a line directly at the end of your big toe. Repeat for the other foot.
5. Using a ruler, measure the distances between the wall and the lines you drew in centimeters. Use the longer distance to determine your size. Your centimeter length equals your mondo point size.
Info
Knowing the length of your foot (hence, mondo point) is only one measurement out of many that are required to genuinely know which boot is right for you. Your boot is an extremely important part of your skiing equipment and if you’re in the wrong one, it can lead to a lot of discomfort while skiing. And because we want you to enjoy this amazing sport as much as possible, we recommend visiting your local Atomic dealer, who can help match you with a boot that suits your unique biomechanical needs.
