Armada ARV 88 Skis 2025
The ARV 88 is built on a snappy poplar chassis that delivers maximum pop and edge hold so you can carve hard and send it deep with lightweight stability all over the mountain. A touch of tip and tail rocker adds variable condition versatility to the package.
Technology
- AR FREESTYLE ROCKER: Rockered tips and tails are combined with positive camber underfoot allowing the ski to float and track through deep, variable snow while maintaining solid edge hold in firmer conditions.
- POPLAR CORE: The 100% Poplar Core delivers stability, power, and pop for predictable response without excess weight.
- ASH BINDING INSERT: Hardwood binding insert provides superior screw retention.
- 2.5 IMPACT EDGE: Oversized and specially heat treated, this edge is supremely durable and built to resist impact damage.
- S7 BASE: A sintered base optimized for speed, durability and wax retention.
- W3DGEWALL: The w3Dgewall is a 3D molded, injected sidewall that’s angled where it joins the wood core. During ski construction, this creates a mechanical bond in the mold and a more uniform connection between the sidewall and core. With more material in strategic areas and a three-dimensional taper in the tip and tail, the w3Dgewall balances ideal performance characteristcs with reduced weights.
- Competition Ready: Narrower widths and a stiffer tuned chassis reduce swing weight, boost pop, and provide lively response for the biggest tricks.
- Art by David Alabo: ARV Series skis feature iconic artwork from David Alabo that explores surrealist futurism through intricately immersive design.
- Frontside Weapon: Dimensions and construction are tailored to slice and dice firmer conditions. Quick edge to edge with an energetic snap between turns.
